This beautiful residence was inspired by the architectural style known as "National Park Rustic, which emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in response to the growing popularity of national parks and the desire to create structures that blended seamlessly with their natural environments. In 1928, the then Governor of Michigan, offered the lodge to President Hoover as a summer White House. Wood How Lodge blends historic charm with modern comforts, showcasing a design rich in native woods and stone.
