The (property) I saw on RealtyTrac led me to the one I found, which was a pre-foreclosure property. I called the attorney of the original house I was going to buy. Then I contacted the buyer, and they already had accepted an offer. But they knew someone else who was going through the same thing.

I just made them an offer and they couldn’t turn it down. It was pretty easy. I bought it for $75,000 and it’s going to cost me about $25,000 to fix it. We’re planning to sell it for about $225,000, so that would be about $100,000 profit. So I’ll definitely come back to RealtyTrac if that works out … I have a guy fixing it up right now and I’m going to try to sell it.

RealtyTrac has been great. It gave me a bunch of information that I needed to know. It gave me an education about what foreclosure homes are and bank owned homes and auctions and all that.

I was able to locate a foreclosure in the Ventura hills that sold for almost half of the market value! I've referred a few investor friends of mine to RealtyTrac and they love it too.
