Guzak HiringBuilds On Recent Acquisition of Homefacts and Its Robust Real EstateDataset
SanFrancisco, Calif. – Aug. 1, 2012 —RealtyTrac® (www.realtytrac.com), theleading online marketplace for foreclosure properties, today announced that ithas hired real estate data licensing veteran Lauren Guzak as Vice President ofData Licensing. Guzak will lead and expand RealtyTrac’s datalicensing operation, which already bulk-platforms foreclosure, loan, sales andassessor data and will soon be incorporating an even broader spectrum of dataofferings thanks to the company’s recent acquisition of online dataaggregator Homefacts (www.homefacts.com).
Guzak’shiring will help RealtyTrac fully leverage its growing cache of proprietaryreal estate data and comes on the heels of the company’s acquisitionof Homefacts in April. That acquisition exponentially expanded the breadth ofthe RealtyTrac real estate datamart, and Guzak will be charged withstrategically developing an enterprise-class bulk data platform to serve theneeds of a broad spectrum of value-added resellers, government, real estate andfinancial services companies.
Guzak comes toRealtyTrac from DataQuick Information Systems, where she was Director ofStrategic Relations, leading the sales and account management efforts for B2B,enterprise-level real estate data licensing. Her clients included innovators inthe real estate, lending, building, mapping, insurance, collection, inspectionand appraisal space. Guzak was an integral part of DataQuick’sefforts to fuel web-based portals for consumers and real estate professionals,and will aggressively drive RealtyTrac’s bulk-data licensing into newand untapped markets where foreclosure and home-related data is more relevantthan ever.
