“For our customers, SQL Server 2016 in a hybrid-cloud environment with Azure that really cuts through all the logistics of managing large data sets,” said Richard Sawicky, chief data officer at ATTOM Data Solutions. “Rather than requiring them to manage file-based extract transformation load (ETL) processes, we can provide data as a service, enabling our customers to focus on their business instead of information management.”
How data is “Attomized”
Using Microsoft technology, the new ATTOM Data Warehouse features enhanced and standardized data for more than 150 million U.S. property parcels, with 14 billion rows of multi-sourced real estate data, including sales history, tax, deed and mortgage data, environmental risk, natural hazard risk, health risk and property and neighborhood characteristics.
Once ingested from the hundreds of national and local providers feeding the ATTOM Data Warehouse, data is standardized and assigned a unique ATTOM ID tied to a property parcel. The “Attomized” data delivered to customers is easily digestible and provides customers with the clearest source of truth available for each parcel — both its current situation and its history.
