Last month I had the privilege of speaking with several hundred real estate agents in Orlando about the latest trends in the housing market and how to leverage those trends to create listing inventory.
I spoke at the Short Sale Con, hosted by the always informative and entertaining Lee Honish, who offers agents extremely creative and proven marketing programs to pursue short sale listing leads — using RealtyTrac data as a starting point for those marketing efforts.
Although most of the agents were interested or already ingrained in the world of short sales, I wanted to share with them other trends in the market that might be important going forward. So while this presentation includes a robust discussion on short sales and how long the short sale surge will last, it also includes information about the REO trends, flipping and institutional investors, home prices and home equity trends, and boomerang buyers.
