President / CEO
James “Jamie” Moyle was appointed CEO of RealtyTrac in August 2012 after joining RealtyTrac’s executive team as president and chief operating officer in April 2012.
Jamie plays an important day-to-day role managing RealtyTrac product development and consumer-facing teams in addition to shaping the strategic direction for the business going forward.
Jamie is a forward-thinking Internet entrepreneur, having created several successful online businesses. In 2001, Jamie founded and served as president of the prominent online vacation rental sales retailer SkiWest before selling it to Overstock.com in July of 2005. Overstock retained Jamie as president of OTravel until he arranged the sale of Overstock’s travel division to Kinderhook Enterprises in 2007. A year later, while studying at Wharton for his M.B.A., Jamie began work on Homefacts.com, a popular Web-based portal that assists consumers in home buying decisions. Homefacts is a pioneer in the pre-diligence process for prospective homeowners, providing consumers with information regarding cities, neighborhoods, schools and other factors that greatly influence home purchasing decisions, allowing them to receive full information before buying a home.
Chief Financial Officer
When Cabell joined RealtyTrac as CFO in January 2006, he brought with him 15 years of prior experience as a Chief Financial Officer for several publicly traded companies.
Immediately prior to joining RealtyTrac, Cabell was the CFO for General Environmental Management, Inc. (GEM), a publicly traded hazardous waste management company. While there, he took the company public and established its SEC reporting infrastructure. Prior to GEM, Cabell was the CFO of both Kimco Staffing Services, Inc., a provider of temporary contract labor, and KimstaffHR, Inc., a professional employer organization (PEO) that provides a full human resource benefits and payroll outsourcing solution. The combined companies have revenues in excess of $140 million and approximately 5,000 employees.
Cabell also served as CFO of Independence One Bank of California. Cabell handled the sale of this $1 billion savings and loan on behalf of its owner, Michigan National Bank. Cabell began his career with Deloitte and Touche after graduating from the Indiana University School of Business in Bloomington, Ind., and passing the CPA exam. Cabell has a Masters Degree from the University of California at Irvine Graduate School of Management.
Chief Technology Officer
As RealtyTrac’s Chief Technology Officer, Prashant Upadhyay is charged with the oversight of all technology-oriented special projects.
Since joining the company in 2012 with RealtyTrac’s acquisition of Homefacts, Prashant has helped develop and deliver the latest version of the RealtyTrac website as well as a mobile application. Prior to joining RealtyTrac, Prashant was CTO of Homefacts where he oversaw the development of a nationwide neighborhood reporting system with more than a billion data point combinations and serving more than 1 million customers a month.
Before his three years at Homefacts, Prashant was Director of Product Development for K12, Inc., where he managed the company’s foreign language delivery platform and was instrumental in the development of an LMS to serve more than 10,000 students.
Originally from Nepal, Prashant earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
Executive Vice President, Data Solutions
Brian Mushaney, RealtyTrac’s Executive Vice President for Data Solutions, heads the company’s expanding file licensing division, which includes the RealtyTrac License Platform, launched in 2014
to allow customers to host our nationwide dataset on their servers, merge it with other datasets, and create derivative products that they can resell under their own brand.
Over nearly three decades in title, data and analytics, Brian has become a leader in real estate data technology, developing a variety of innovative tools for major firms along the way.
Before coming to RealtyTrac in 2014, he was Senior Vice President at X1 Analytics, creating the data and analytics team that provided analytic products to financial institutions and investors across the country. He previously worked with LPS, most recently as its Vice President Sales Manager for Data Solutions, and before that as Vice President of Fidelity National Data Services, where he oversaw the creation of the data and analytics group. He also held a series of top executive positions within Fidelity Information Services, IDM Corporation and Chicago Title.
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Gary has 20 years’ experience acquiring top executive and management talent, as well as leading all human resource functions.
Prior to joining RealtyTrac in 2008, he held the top corporate executive human resources position at three global public organizations: Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Huck International and Fairchild Corporation (both Huck and Fairchild were acquired by Alcoa). He was also Southern California’s EVP and Managing Director of DHR International, a “top 5” global executive search firm.
Gary is a well-known authority on mergers and acquisitions, executive coaching, international business development and talent acquisition and training. He has spoken at national conferences and executive roundtables, and has been featured in business and human resources publications. He has taught as an adjunct instructor of undergraduate and graduate management courses at Pepperdine University, the University of Illinois, the University of California at Irvine and the University of Phoenix. He earned three degrees from the University of Illinois: a Doctorate in Administration and Supervision, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Education. He also recently earned an MBA in international business.
Born and raised in Illinois, Gary and his wife Carla have lived in Huntington Beach for more than 20 years. They have three married daughters and five grandchildren.
Senior Vice President, Revenue Generation and Operations
David Towers brings over 19 years of experience to RealtyTrac with extensive knowledge in leading high-performance e-commerce, marketing and operations teams.
At RealtyTrac, he leads the company’s subscription and publisher advertising revenue streams. He has held senior management positions in a diverse group of companies, including American Express, Westfield, Razorfish, Liz Claiborne and J. Crew. He was most recently Vice President of E-Commerce at Wet Seal, where he stabilized and streamlined the e-commerce division during company restructuring.
Previously, Towers was Vice President of Digital Business at Westfield, a global real estate developer. Towers transformed Westfield’s approach to digital marketing in the U.S. He doubled website traffic through PPC/SEO efforts and exponentially grew the company’s social media presence. Towers also served as Vice President, Managing Director at Razorfish, where he developed digital initiatives for numerous Los Angeles based clients. At J.Crew, he led the $100M+ e-commerce division with consistent annual double-digit percentage growth increases. At American Express, he managed Membership Rewards marketing and telephone customer service initiatives.
Towers earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from University of Southern California.
Senior Vice President, Marketing
Senior Vice President of Marketing Rob Talbot manages the marketing and public relations departments responsible for designing and executing RealtyTrac’s extensive marketing strategies.
A key focus is his work with the growing RealtyTrac Network, a nationwide initiative launched in 2013 to provide leading independent and franchised brokerages with an exclusive promotional partnership in each market.
Rob joined RealtyTrac in 2014, bringing more than 15 years of experience as a top marketing and real estate specialist with achievements in awareness building, online marketing, web design, promotion and branding. He previously served as VP Marketing for M-GO, a digital entertainment streaming service, and prior to that as Napster’s VP of Marketing responsible for growing the global music service’s subscription base. He also held senior management positions at Move, Inc., Sony Pictures Digital Network, Lifetime Television and HBO.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tulane University and MBA in marketing at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
As Vice President, Alan is responsible for the development and expansion of RealtyTrac’s strategic partnerships and data sales relationships.
Prior to joining RealtyTrac, Alan was a co-founder of Local Tourist, a resort destination and marketing services company. Based in Park City, Utah, the company operated Local Tourist, a resort marketing company, as well as the Grocery Girls and Special Request concierge delivery service companies.
Alan was a founding team member and vice president of Ski West, Inc., based in Park City, Utah, where he managed the company’s sales operations as well as handled its business development efforts. Following the sale of Ski West to Overstock.com in July of 2005, Alan was retained as Vice President of OTravel (Overstock Travel), where he served until the sale of the Overstock.com travel division to Kinderhook Industries in 2007. Alan was retained by Kinderhook Industries as vice president of the travel company that began operating under the name Mountain Reservations and later VacationRoost.
Alan attended Vanderbilt University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and Financial Economics in 2001.
Vice President, Data Operations
As Vice President of Data Operations, Simeon Blankenship manages an expanding network of data aggregators who provide RealtyTrac’s clients with daily feeds of national foreclosure information.
His team maintains contact with more than 130 aggregators, ensuring that RealtyTrac delivers the highest quality data in real-time.
Simeon is also responsible for RealtyTrac’s comprehensive vision and strategy plan, making sure that it meets new marketplace challenges by incorporating the latest in data collection methodology. Since joining RealtyTrac in 2012 he has helped secure the company’s dominant position in disseminating pre-foreclosure and foreclosure information.
Simeon came onboard during RealtyTrac’s acquisition of Homefacts.com, the company he co-founded in 2007. As Homefacts’ president, he helped establish it as the nation’s first single-source aggregator of relevant environmental data for homebuyers, giving them access to deepest property profile information available including: Crime statistics, school performance, weather patterns, and much more.
Simeon earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance at West Virginia University.
Vice President, Data Acquisitions
As Vice President of Data Acquisitions, Jo Ellen is responsible for creating RealtyTrac’s national network of abstractors who collect foreclosure information daily.
Jo Ellen joined RealtyTrac in 2004 as Director of Data Acquisitions, responsible for the development and management of the company’s data procurement strategy. Currently, Jo Ellen manages the Data Operations Group at RealtyTrac, supervising over 100 abstractors nationwide who collect public records data in over 2,000 counties across the country.
Prior to joining RealtyTrac, Jo Ellen had an abstract company in Dallas which handled title searches for several large settlement service firms. Before moving to Dallas, she worked in Midland, Texas, in the oil and gas industry for 16 years as a Professional Petroleum Landman, researching surface, mineral and leasehold title, performing due diligence on mergers and acquisitions, and negotiating land deals. Her experience as a Landman took her to Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Jo Ellen has a degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with her husband and son, where she is active in her community and church.
Vice President, RealtyTrac
With RealtyTrac since 2001, Daren Blomquist has been instrumental in many facets of the company’s business as it has transformed into the industry leader it is today.
Daren is directly responsible for the creation of the company’s U.S. foreclosure market and sales reports, which are cited by thousands of media outlets nationwide — including all the major news networks and leading publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and USA TODAY. He has been quoted in hundreds of national and local publications and has appeared on many national network broadcasts, including CBS, ABC, CNN, CNBC, FOX Business and Bloomberg.
In his position, Daren also interfaces with numerous government agencies at the national, state and local level and is a sought-after speaker at industry events, including in the past year at Inman Connect, U.S. Treasury Short Sale Training Events, REOMAC, FiveStar MPACT, Georgia Association of Realtors, California Mortgage Association, Mortgage Servicing News, Equity Trust Networking Conference, and many local real estate investor associations.
He is a graduate of Trinity International University in Chicago and holds a degree in English Communications.
Vice President, Sales and Customer Service
Tom Raudorf is responsible for the company’s consumer, investor and real estate agent/broker sales divisions as well as the customer service team.
Prior to joining RealtyTrac, Tom was a co-founder of Local Tourist, a resort destination and marketing services company based in Park City, Utah. The company operated Local Tourist, a resort marketing company, as well as the Grocery Girls and Special Request concierge delivery service companies.
Tom was a founding team member and Chief Operating Officer of Ski West, Inc. based in Park City, Utah. Vice President, Marketing and Operations
Darcy Patch is Vice President of Marketing and Operations for the RealtyTrac Network (RTN), a partnership with leading brokers in every market across the country.
In addition to overseeing growth of the broker network’s membership, Darcy communicates new ways for current members to leverage the immense databases and information resources that power the company’s RealtyTrac.com and Homefacts.com websites, B2B and B2C product offerings and extensive media outreach programs.
Darcy joined RealtyTrac in 2014 after more than 20 years of marketing and industry experience working with Fortune 500 companies in real estate, financial services and the mortgage industry. Most recently she was Director of Marketing Strategy at ServiceLink, a leading national provider of service and technology solutions for the mortgage industry.
Previously she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at LPS and its predecessor companies during an 11-year tenure with the organization. Earlier in her career she was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cigna Flood Services, a national provider of flood hazard compliance and lender-placed insurance services.
Darcy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine.
