A new feature has been added to RealtyTrac to give you an estimate of what it might cost to rehab foreclosure properties listed on the website.
The new Estimated Cost to Restore is listed on the search results pages, and more details can be found on each individual property details page — including varying rehab costs based on the condition of the property.
The ECR is an average of the typical rehabilitation costs of a home subject to its specific condition, plus labor, materials and other expenses. The estimates are provided by Bluebook International, which has over 45 years of experience in providing costs of cleaning, reconstruction and repair to the insurance and real estate industries.
